The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced the winners of its 1,200 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power projects (Tranche-XIX) auction. In the auction, KP Energy secured a capacity of 100 MW at a tariff of Rs 3.67 per kWh. Furthermore, Waaree Forever Energies, Ganeko Three Energy, and Opera Energy secured 300 MW, 180 MW, and 50 MW, respectively, at a tariff of Rs 3.68 per kWh. The other three winners, namely Purvah Green Power, Refex Holding, and Vena Energy Aura, secured capacities of 250 MW, 196 MW, and 124 MW, respectively. These capacities were secured at a tariff of Rs 3.69 per kWh.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers setting up the wind projects and establishing the transmission network up to the interconnection or delivery point. The scope further covers identifying land, securing ownership, and obtaining all approvals and clearances from state and local authorities. The selected bidders are required to ink a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with SECI. Furthermore, the selected bidders will also provide operation and maintenance services for the projects for the PPA period. The tender was floated earlier in October 2025.
Earlier in January 2026, SECI announced the winners of its 1,200 MW ISTS-connected solar power projects with 600 MW/ 3,600 MWh energy storage systems (Tranche-XXI).
