IFM Investors will acquire the remaining 50 per cent stake in Nala Renewables from Trafigura Renewables. Nala Renewables, a renewable-energy platform located in London, operates a multi-technology portfolio with over 2 GW capacity across solar, wind, and storage. The platform also targets 10 GW of global capacity in operation, construction, or late-stage development by 2030. The transaction is expected to close by mid of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
In February 2026, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, through its fifth flagship fund Copenhagen Infrastructure V (CI V), reached an agreement to acquire Ørsted’s European onshore renewable energy business. The transaction covers more than 800 MW of renewable capacity, consisting of 578 MW operational and 248 MW under construction, along with a multi-GW development pipeline.
In July 2025, Ecopetrol SA (Ecopetrol) fully acquired the shares of Compañía Wind Autogeneración SAS, which is the owner of the Windpeshi wind project. The project is situated in La Guajira between the municipalities of Uribia and Maicao. It has a capacity of 205 MW for wind energy production. Furthermore, the Windpeshi project will be integrated into the self-consumption portfolio of Ecopetrol Group.
